The Client

Hush Puppies began first as a footwear brand in 1958. The brand set out to find a solution for sore feet, otherwise known as “barking dogs". In the decades since, they have expanded to become a household brand synonymous with comfort and casual wear.

The Goal

Inspired by the playfulness of their emblematic Basset Hound Jason, Hush Puppies announced their new "Hi, J!" collection for Fall and Winter 2021. "Hi, J!" reminds consumers to live untethered from the status quo — carefree, confident, living life off the leash. Hush Puppies hopes to inspire consumers to live with the same swagger as Jason through the limited release of "Hi, J!" bags.

The Strategy

Every day spent with your pawpals gives you butterflies and leaves fond memories. With that in mind, we wanted pawrents to experience their day spent as a date. No matter the location, "Hi, J!"'s bags — versatile. practical, stylish — will complement your fit perfectly!
