Lovely smell!

Does not lather that well on my dog’s coat and probably have to use a lot of shampoo for his whole body

Nice eucalyptus smell

Contrary to its name, it does not smell like coconut at all. It smells like eucalyptus as mentioned in the product description. Made dog smell very good and aromatherapy-like, and dog did not react adversely to it.

Reminds me of Dr Bronner!

It has a quite similar texture to Dr Bronner’s Castile soap. It foams a little but not excessively, I think it’s great for dogs who dislikes showers as it is quite easy to wash off and only one step. Probably not recommended for those who prefer a more creamy texture! Recommended for those who like easy to wash off shampoos! It’s not bad for a 2-in-1 as it made her fur a little soft, but not as effective as having the additional conditioner step. Will try their leave-in conditioner the next round to see if it works well to complement this shampoo!

Doesn’t foam as much as I would like

I’m looking for a shampoo brand for Oolong and decided to try Doggie balm - what I like is that it contain hints of eucalyptus which helps to keep bugs and fleas away (something I look out for since oolong is always dashing in and outta bushes on walks. The smell is actually not strong ( personally I prefer shampoos with a stronger scent) but Oolong seems okay with it - maybe because of the mild scent. I also like the origin country and brand story so yes, encouraged to try! Only downside is because it doesn’t foam, I actually have to use quite a lot on Oolong (10% of the bottle for 1 bath cause we could t gauge). It’s also chaotic since Oolong is being a little rascal in shower so it’s just hard to kinda “estimate” properly 😆 #BathTimeHorror Would recommend smaller dog owners to try (can use basin and control the qty better). In addition, the brand also advise us to pour some into an empty bottle and add water to mix = more foamy.
